iTunes Podcast subscriptions top 1 million

Apple announced on Thursday that Podcast subscriptions through its iTunes Music application topped 1 million, just two days after the release. With the new version of iTunes released on Tuesday, users can subscribe to over 3,000 free podcasts and have each new episode automatically delivered over the Internet to their computer and iPod. Industry analysts and Pocasters alike have cheered Apple’s release of iTunes and its move into the Podcasting space.
