Safari update released for Panther, Tiger

Apple has released Safari Update 1.3.1 for Mac OS X v10.3 “Panther” users and Safari Update 2.0.1 for Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger” users. The updates are available from the Software Update System Preference pane or for download from Apple’s Web site.

Apple indicates that both updates offer “improved website compatibility, application stability and support for 3rd party web applications.”

The Tiger update requires Mac OS X v10.4.2, according to the Web site, and measures 4.5MB. The Panther update requires Mac OS X v10.3.9 and measures 3.8MB.
