Apple launches ADC Bookshelf Service

The Apple Developer Connection (ADC) has launched the ADC Bookshelf Service a new way to get developers the latest technical information and documentation, according to Apple. The new service is a partnership between Apple and Safari Books Online (a joint venture between O'Reilly Media, Inc. and The Pearson Technology Group).

ADC Bookshelf is a subscription-based service and pricing is based on your level of membership. Apple is offering developers a two week trial subscription.

The service currently has almost 1,000 Open Source and Mac-oriented titles from O'Reilly Media, Peachpit Press, Prentice Hall and Addison Wesley, among others.

Complete details on how the service works is available from Apple's Web site.
