Griffin iFill fills your iPod using streamed music

Griffin Technology Inc. on Friday announced iFill, software that records music from Internet radio streams and transfers it to your iPod. iFill works with Macs and Windows-based PCs and costs US$19.99. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3 or later or Windows XP, an Internet connection, and any iPod.

iFill lets you stream several stations at once. Click the Record button and the software begins to record the streaming audio. The software’s not dependent on itunes, but does use some iTunes-style interface elements to keep the experience consistent. You can also easily edit song and artist tags — Griffin has done so because some online radio stations send song info that’s not tagged properly.
