TuneDeck connects iPod nano with cassette deck

Tired of using an FM transmitter with your iPod nano? Belkin on Monday announced the TuneDeck for iPod nano, a $49.99 accessory set to launch in July, 2006. The device enables iPod nano users to connect through their tape decks instead.

A mounting device lets you set the iPod nano right on the edge of the TuneDeck; you can rotate it so you can easily view your iPod nano’s screen. The TuneDeck works with most car tape players, according to Belkin, and powers and charges the iPod nano as well. It features an inner-magnetic and shake-resistant design.

Belkin had not updated its Web site with information on the TuneDeck as Playlist posted this article.
