TechTool Deluxe update adds Intel support

Software utility developer Micromat on Friday released an update for TechTool Deluxe, bringing the application to version 3.1.1. Among the changes in the new version is support for Intel Macs; support has been added for Volume Structure testing of the current startup volume; added a CD download dialog for Volume Structure failure on current startup volume; and replaced Diagnostic and Rezero Unit tests and added Drive Hardware and Directory Scan. The update is free for registered users and is available from the company’s Web site.
