Karaoke comes to video iPod

Want to turn your fifth-generation iPod into a karaoke machine? That’s exactly what doPi Karaoke does — it’s a $59.99 hardware device that lets you use your video iPod as a karaoke jukebox.

The converter plugs into a television or stereo system, and includes a microphone. Using MPEG-4 video files you can download from the doPi Karaoke Web site (available for $1.99 — a card redeemable for three songs are included with the converter) — you can sing along with the synchronized lyrics.

The kit includes the converter, microphone, and cables to connect your iPod and your TV.
