Business Card Composer adds Spotlight support

BeLight Software on Thursday released Business Card Composer v4.1, an update to its business card design and printing software. A free update for registered users, it costs $34.95 to download or $39.95 plus shipping and handling for the CD (the CD includes extra clip art).

Business Card composer includes design and layout tools, and includes many pre-configured templates and layouts. It integrates with Address book and iPhoto, exports images to TIFF, JPEG and PDF, can generate business cards and badges and more.

New to the 4.1 release is support for Spotlight, Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger’s” search engine technology. Document content is now automatically indexed in Spotlight. You can generate unique images using BeLight’s companion freeware Image Tricks.

New formats for name badges and index cards from Compulabel are supported, proportional resize has been reworked, and minor bug fixes have been made.

System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3 or later. Business Card Composer is a Universal binary.
