Expo: DLO introduces iBoom Travel speakers for iPod

Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) on Monday introduced its iBoom Travel, a portable iPod sound system with speakers and alarm clock. It costs $89.99.

The iBoom Travel — available in either graphite or white finishes — fits all dock connector-equipped iPods, and includes a “travel pouch” to protect it when you’re on the go. It is powered either by four AA batteries or an included AC adapter, and features a built-in alarm clock and integrated FM radio.

The face of the iBoom Travel features a large, easy-to-read LCD display that has an optional blue backlight. It can be set to turn off automatically at 15, 30, 60, 90 or 120 minutes, and will start the iPod at the time you set. You can also activate the FM radio to awaken you, or a standard travel buzzer. What’s more, the iPod will charge up when it’s placed in the stand.
