i-XPS 250 speaker system sports iPod dock

Guillemot brand Hercules on Thursday announced its i-XPS 250, a new $119 speaker system featuring an integrated dock to connect an iPod.

It’s a one-piece speaker system that sports Apple’s “Made for iPod” logo, as it uses a dock connector to attach compatible iPods. Adapters are included to fit iPods, iPod minis, and iPod nanos; an auxiliary input can accommodate other devices, including the iPod shuffle.

The i-XPS 250 sports two speakers and a subwoofer - it’s a 2.1 system, and it features 25 watts RMS output with 50 watts peak power. The system features a black gloss finish. It’s designed to be used indoors — it plugs into an AC wall socket.
