Typinator spelling corrector adds 'sets'
Ergonis Software has announced the release of Typinator 2.0, a new version of its auto-typing and auto-correction utility for Mac OS X. It costs €19.99 ($26.96).
Typinator offers thousands of pre-defined corrections for typos in English, German and French, and will automatically correct them for you as you go. You can also define abbreviations which Typinator will then expand to full text.
New to 2.0 is the concept of “sets” — organizations of typing error corrections, text boilerplates and standard graphics elements that can be replaced easily. You can define the same shortcuts for use in different ways in different applications, as well.
Also new to the 2.0 release is drag-and-drop support from Textpander, TextExpander and TypeIt4Me to help ease integration.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later. Typinator is a Universal binary.
