Western Digital offers 250GB portable drives

Western Digital on Tuesday announced the release of a 250GB version of its WD Passport Portable Drive. It’s a lightweight USB 2.0 portable hard disk drive for the Mac or PC, and it costs $199.

The drive measures 0.59 x 5.11 x 3.14 inches and weighs 3.68 ounces. It’s clad in a “piano black” finish.

The drive joins other WD Passport models, available in 60, 80, 120 and 160GB capacities, respectively.
