Captain FTP 5.0 adds preview drawer

Xnet Software has updated its ftp client, Captain FTP, to version 5.0. In addition to numerous bug fixes, the new version of Captain FTP has added several new features the company said were the focus of user requests. Among the enhancements are support for WebDav, private keys in SFTP /passphrase/, file id in Get Info, growl support and duplicate file/folder. Version 5 also offers a preview drawer that displays images, movies, pdf documents, music, local folder size, general info for any other kind of file and general info for volumes. Captain 5.0 costs $25 and is available from the company's Web site.
