Kaplan offers iPod SAT test prep via iTunes Store

by Peter Cohen, Playlist Magazine

Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions on Thursday announced three interactive Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) prep programs, available for purchase and download through Apple’s iTunes Store. Each program costs $4.99.

The programs can be accessed using a fifth-generation iPod, and are designed to help high school students practice for their college entrance exams. The programs focus on the exam’s three graded sections: Critical Reading, Math and Writing.

The programs provide detailed analysis of each completed quiz the user takes, and includes explanations on the exam structure, Kaplan strategies for the SAT, tips and information. Students can take timed or untimed quizzes, with or without music, and can see their quiz score progress through dynamic charts and graphs.
