Toontrack Solo coming in October

Toontrack Solo, a host application for EZdrummer samples, is the newest application announced by Toontrack Music.

The purpose of Toontrack Solo is to provide a standalone environment for EZdrummer or Superior Drummer samples. According to the company, Toontrack Solo has been optimized for real-time, low latency operation; it has full ASIO/Core Audio/Core MIDI support; a routable mixer with support for up to 16 physical outs; and support for specialist MIDI controllers.

Toontrack Solo requires Mac OS X 10.3.9, G4 1GHz with 512 MB of Ram. The application will be released as a free download in October to all registered users of EZ and Superior Drummer sampler users.
