Pangea Software releases 'X Pack' collection

Pangea Software on Monday announced the release of The X Pack, a collection of games and utilities. The collection costs $79.95. It’s been released to celebrate the company’s 20th anniversary.

The X Pack collects in one suite every game and utility that Pangea has ever released for Mac OS X. Bugdom 2, Otto Matic, Enigmo, Runic, TabMeister, Enigmo 2, Billy Frontier, Cro-Mag Rally, Nanosaur and Pangea Arcade. Pangea says the collection would cost $214 if each product was purchased individually. The company plans to offer the collection only through the end of December.

Pangea Software confirms that all of the games in the X Pack run on Intel Macs. Most of the games have been updated to run natively on Intel Macs, but Enigmo 1, Billy Frontier and Cro-Mag Rally haven’t been updated as Universal binaries, according to Pangea president Brian Greenstone. Those games run fast enough on Intel Macs that there wasn’t a need to convert them, he told Macworld.
