Planar offers new 19-inch LCD display

Planar Systems Inc. has introduced the PL190M, its latest 19-inch flat panel LCD display. The display features a thin bezel design and is available in white, black or silver finishes.

The PL190M has native 1280 x 1024 pixel (SXGA) resolution and a 170-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angle. It also offers 25ms response time, 250cd/m2 brightness and a 500:1 contrast ratio.

The display cabinet houses stereo speakers, and is VESA compatible for wall or arm mounting. The PL190M sports support for analog input through a D-sub 15 pin connector, as well as DVI-I, making it compatible with Power Mac G4s with a separate adaptor.

With the optional Video-EX video expansion accessory, the PL190M boasts the versatility to connect to video game consoles, DVD players, digital video cameras and broadcast TV signals.

The PL190M carries a suggested retail price of US$749.
