In July Apple's iTunes Music Store, in conjunction with Audible.com and cable political news channel C-SPAN, released free recordings of speeches made during the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston, Mass. The audiobooks are free to download, though they require users to have a valid iTunes Music Store account. Now the iTunes Music Store features the same deal for speeches recorded during the Republican National Convention, which is taking place this week in New York City. As MacCentral posted this article, the site featured speeches of Representatives J. Dennis Hastert and Heather Wilson, Senators Lindsey Graham and John McCain, former NYC Police Commissioner Bernard Kerik and former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani.
