4D Inc. on Wednesday announced the release of 4D Meetings 1.0, a meeting and task management system for Mac OS X and Windows. Developed to compete with rival FileMaker Inc.'s FileMaker Meetings software, 4D Meetings also provides contact management, group creation, archive storage and report generation capabilities. What's more, you can generate reports with calculation, synchronize data with Apple's iCal and Address book software and more. 4D Meetings requires Mac OS X v10.3 or higher.
