Splasm Software released an update on Friday for Podner, its utility to convert videos to an iPod compatible format. Among the changes in this update, Podner now has support for MPEG muxed audio, allowing users to preserve MPEG audio in their iPod-ready MPEG-4 or H.264 videos. Podner 1.0.1 also includes several interface enhancements and corrects a few frame rate and resolution issues, according to the developer. To convert videos, you drag and drop a movie on Podner, adjust the output settings and click the continue button. Podner 1.0.1 is free for registered users, and costs $9.95 for new users.
