AtTask 4, a scalable and pluggable project management system, has been released. The Java-based software, which is database and browser independent, is targeted toward small and medium size businesses, according to the developer. AtTask supports Oracle, MySQL, and SQL Server databases, as well as integration with Apache and IIS. For operating systems, the software supports Windows 95/98/2000/ME/XP, Linux, Mac OS X, and UNIX. New features in version 4 include tabbed navigation interface, new task management functionality, issue creation and tracking and improved tracking and reporting functions. AtTask is available on-demand as a service or as a self-hosted enterprise solution. Pricing is based on the delivery model and number of users.
