Epson's Expression Premium XP-800 Small-in-one Printer is a great little multifunction that handles every SOHO chore in the book and is especially well-suited for graphic artisans. But considering how much the printer costs, it feels like the ink should be cheaper.
The HP Envy 120 e-All-in-One is for those who do only a little printing and a little scanning, but who want to do it in style.
The Epson Expression Home XP-410 Small-in-One will suffice for light home/student use. The print quality is surprisingly good, but ironically, the pricey inks mean you shouldn't buy this machine unless you don't print much.
