If the memory and PCI-X slot limitations of the dual-2.0GHz Power Mac G5 bother you, the dual-2.3GHz system may offer you the best balance of performance, technology, and cost.

Pros: Good performance; big hard drive; double-layer SuperDrive; huge memory capacity; PCI-X slots.

Cons: Extra performance and features compared with entry-level model may not justify $500 price premium.
