Griffin's PowerPod is a FireWire-based car charger for dockable iPods. The PowerPod plugs into your car's accessory ("cigarette lighter") jack and provides power to your dockable iPod via the included FireWire-to-dock-connector cable.
Although at $25 the PowerPod is more expensive than some of the other auto chargers we've seen, its 4-foot FireWire dock connector cable is virtually identical to the version Apple sells for $19; in other words, if you need an extra cable, you're paying only $6 for the charger itself.
