Garr Reynolds, manager of Worldwide User Group Relations for Apple, has stepped down from his position. There's not a lot of info available, but the November edition of the Apple User Group Leader Bulletin contained the following update regarding the Apple User Group Program:
"As some of you already know, Garr Reynolds has left Apple to pursue other interests. The User Group Program will continue under the care of the User Group Advisory Board and me. I'm excited to be involved with Apple User Groups and look forward to working with you in the weeks and months to come. - Jeff Mosqueda, Apple"
MUGs are good places for making new friends, finding Mac-loving buddies, boning up your technical expertise, finding solutions to technical problems, and sometimes finding a good deal on used hardware. For more info on MUGs, and to find the location of the one nearest you, go to Apple's User Group Web page.
