Revolution is a rapid application development tool. The development environment enables developers to create software applications for Mac OS X, "Classic" Mac OS, Windows, Linux and UNIX operating systems.
New features in Revolution 2.0 include the addition of a new Jaguar-friendly user interface, support for spreadsheet fields, XML, Unicode, MIDI and lots more.
Runtime Revolution is offering anyone who buys the current version of Revolution -- 1.1.1 -- a free upgrade to 2.0 once it's released. Also, folks who already have a Revolution Professional Edition license can get 2.0 test releases from Runtime Revolution's Web site.
To check out Revolution 2.0, stop by the Runtime Revolution booth, #3261, in the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Macworld Conference & Expo runs through Friday, January 10, 2003.
