Apple has posted information on their Web site giving users that might be considering one of the company's new PowerBooks a little extra incentive.

Customers that purchase one of the new 12-inch or 17-inch PowerBooks between January 7 and March 29, 2003 will receive a special launch t-shirt and a coupon for a "10 percent off day" at one of Apple's retail stores. When you receive your PowerBook, you can take it (or the shipping receipt), along with the included coupon into the store and start shopping.

It does not appear at this time that the "10 percent off day" extends to shopping at Apple's online store.

The 10 percent discount does not apply to purchases of another Apple computer, an AppleCare agreement or a product that is part of another promotional offer.
