Nuesoft is the company behind NueMD, an Internet solution for physician practice management. The companies will integrate the solution with TeleVox's appointment reminders. Since NueMD is developed with Sun's Java, it's platform independent.
The system automatically calls patients who have appointments and stores the responses to each call. Patients can cancel with notice and receive their reminders in the evening, when they are most likely to be home, according to Nuesoft CEO Massoud Alibakhsh. Results of the previous day's calls will be waiting for the user, within NueMD, each morning.
