With G7 you can add lyrics and chord symbols, create lead sheets and piano/vocal/guitar arrangements. You can scan tab and turn it into standard notation, as well, or vice versa. G7 also reads and saves ASCII tab and MIDI file formats.

G7 utilizes an interactive fretboard interface, which provides a visual representation of how to play the music. You can display rhythmic styles and bends, slides and more. A drum pattern generator can also create drum notation automatically. The software includes the G7 Guide, which provides info on guitars, playing techniques and musical styles, illustrations and audio examples.

Look for G7 to be released in the first quarter of 2003. It will retail for US$149. G7 is coming for Mac OS X and Windows.
