On this week's edition of Your Mac Life, the Internet show about all things Mac, host-producer Shawn King will talk with Dean Chang, chief technical officer of Immersion Corp., Maria Yap of Adobe, and others.
Chang will discuss Immersion's "TouchSense" Technology and its use in force feedback for gaming, as well as in medicine and automobiles. With TouchSense supported on the Mac, gamers are now able to use controllers that shake, rattle and roll in time with the explosions on the screen.
InDesign Product Manager Maria Yap will talk about InDesign and its place in the world of desktop publishing. Also on tonight's Your Mac Life will be Dave Mark, editor-in-chief of MacTech magazine, and Apple "switcher" Jeremiah Cohick. As always, my MacCentral compadre, Peter Cohen, will be on hand -- he'll discuss the recent Macworld Conference & Expo in San Francisco from a gamer's perspective. If you have questions for tonight's guests, you can e-mail them to King.
You can catch Your Mac Life every Wednesday evening from 5:30-8:30 p.m. (Pacific). You can also join the show's gang in one of two chat rooms that run during the live show: on the World Without Borders Web site or on the dedicated IRC Server at irc.netmug.org in the #yourmaclife Channel.
