OS X comes with HTML.Edit, a sort of SimpleText for HTML. It's got a peculiar interface that's harmed by floating palettes that have a tendency to sink beneath the window you're working in. But this is a remarkable direction for Apple, because it apparently means the company is planning on including a lightweight WYSIWYG Web-page editor with its operating system. HTML.Edit even has support for form elements -- nothing to sneeze at.
