Nope, that's not a typo -- vSee Inc. has launched the iBook Portector. It's a polyurethane strip that is designed to protect the open ports on the left side of Apple's redesigned iBook from amassing dust and dirt.

vSee Inc. president Zac Henderson said that his company is looking at distributors and resellers for the iBook Portector (folks looking to sell the product are encouraged to e-mail portector@fueldesigninc.com for more info). Henderson also said that his company would soon be selling the product via its Web site, although pricing details are not yet available.
