Quark is honoring 24 "GoldenPartner" XTensions developers in recognition of their decade of commitment to the XTensions Developer Program.

This year's GoldenPartner XTensions developers were some of the first members of what is now a mature community that continues to grow in service of the Quark customer base, according to Lauren Strand, XTensions program manager at Quark.

"Year after year, our developer community adds to the vast selection of powerful XTensions software for Quark products," she said in recognizing long-term development partners. "They've delivered countless solutions that have evolved alongside QuarkXPress in response to ever-changing industry demands."

XTensions modules are add-on software that enhance Quark products. There are now more than 500 commercially available XTensions that augment the capabilities of QuarkXPress. Companies interested in becoming a member of the XTensions Developer Program can request an application packet from the Quark developer desk by sending an e-mail to developer.desk@quark.com.

Also, at Seybold, Quark's Active Publishing Server has been named "Hot Pick of the Show" at Seybold San Francisco 2001. Quark Active Publishing Server is a high-performance server technology that uses core engines from QuarkXPress 5.0 to produce personalized, design-rich content on demand in popular print and Web formats.
