Now that Mac OS X is ready for prime time as of version 10.1, you may want to start adding your own visuals to iTunes. Now you can with ArKaos Visualizer 1.5, which comes in "flavors" for iTunes, Soundjam 2.x and Audion 2.x.

Initially developed for Casady & Greene's SoundJam, ArKaos Visualizer is a free plug-in. It comes with 11 visual files pre-loaded. You can download new ones in the User Zone section of the ArKaos Web site.

Besides Mac OS X compatibility, version 1.5 has multi-effects support and has been optimized for the Power Mac's Velocity Engine. There's also new waveform support. You can download ArKaos Visualizer from the company Web site.
