AppleWorks -- Apple's productivity suite containing word processor, spreadsheet, database and drawing tools components -- has been updated. The new version, AppleWorks X 6.2.1, is an upgrade only for users of Mac OS X 10.1.

If you use an older version of Mac OS X, don't use this update, which, by the way, only updates AppleWorks 6.2. If you have an earlier version of AppleWorks 6, you need to run the AppleWorks 6.2 updater before using this updater, if you're running Mac OS X 10.1.

The updater (a 4.2 MB file) can be downloaded from the AppleWorks Web site.
