There's a new book coming for Mac developers on Carbon programming from SAMS Publishing. It will be called, appropriately, "Carbon Programming," and is written by Kevin Bricknell, a columnist for MacTech Magazine and the author of "Macintosh C Programming."
"Carbon Programming" is targeted to C programmers learning Apple's new Carbon API (application programming interface) and covers topics including Scrap, Event Manager, Appearance, Controls, Lists and much more.
The book should end up around 1,600 pages and is set for an Oct. 24 release. However, by special arrangement with the publisher, DevDepot is receiving a bindery shipment on Oct 17 and is now taking pre-orders. Pre-orders are limited to the stock in their bindery shipment.
This story, "'Carbon Programming' book available for preorder" was originally published by PCWorld.
