Apple's Macintosh Products Guide has been featuring products from their retailer partners in a new section of its Web site called Hot Deals for some time. Apple partners in the program include CompUSA, J&R, MacZone, Outpost, ClubMac, MacMall, MacConnection and the online Apple Store.

Apple today updated its own Hot Deals Web page, dropping the price on its DVD media to US$29.95 for a 5 pack. The DVD media can be used with Apple's SuperDrive and iDVD or DVD Studio Pro to make home movies.

If you have one of Apple's new laptops, the next two items may be of particular interest to you. Apple has added two new carrying bags from Brenthaven, one for the iBook and one for the Titanium PowerBook. The iBook bag, dubbed the Mobility 1, retails at the Apple Store for $79, while the Custom Fit Ti, specially built for the Titanium retails for $149.

You can get information on all three products from Apple's Hot Deals Web site.
