Koingo Software has released Password Retriever 2.1, which lets you store and categorize thousands of passwords to everything from your voice mail to your countless e-mail accounts.
The utility costs US$9.95. While Password Retriever doesn't offer 448-bit encryption like some other password storage utilities, Josh Hague, president of Koingo, said its security methods aren't "easily hackable."
In the latest version, a closebox has been added to the main window. The log now records if access to database fails and logging is on. Password Retriever 2.1 also adds a global "floater" that displays your login and password for the selected service.
