CNNMoney has named the iBook the best new laptop of 2001. In their " Best of the New " round-up, CNNMoney says the iBook "may well be the best all-around computer Apple has ever made."

They also praise the bundled applications of iMovie, iTunes. CNNMoney likes the iBook's size, durability and features "unheard of on portables in this price range."

CNNMoney's praise is for the iBook before it was tweaked by Apple last month. The iBook line now has faster processors, better storage capacity and numerous other changes, at basically the same price point. See our Oct. 16 article for details.
