Ekim Software has updated ChessWorks, their free multiplayer chess game. Version 3.0 is playable over the Internet or a LAN.

ChessWorks is strictly multiplayer and doesn't offer a computer player at this time. The update was developed from the ground up to provide more features and improved stability over previous versions, according to MacTech magazine. The list of new features contains game clocks, more customization, full PGN support, resizable graphics and more.

ChessWorks version 3 is available for Mac OS 8, 9 and Mac OS X. For more info or to download the application, go to the Ekim Web site.
