Sharewarecompany LAJ Design has released iReplace 1.0, a US$12.50 utility for advanced search and replace actions, primarily for Web documents.

iReplace allows you to specify multiple items to find and replace or just to search for those items. You can select special characters and it will replace those with the HTML equivalent of those items. iReplace supports HTML files (.htm;.html;.html;.asp;.php), plain text files (.asc;.ascii;.text;.txt), Rich Text Files (.rtx), and tab separated Files (.tsv).

A 30-day demo that can be unlocked at anytime by registering is available at the LAJ Web site. A Mac OS X and "classic" version are available. iReplace 1.0 requires a Power Mac running Mac OS version 8.0 or higher, including Mac OS X.
