If you've been looking for a PDA pocket keyboard for your Visor or Palm handheld, Cirque Corp. may have something worth considering.

The appropriately dubbed PDA Pocket Keyboard and adapter for the Visor Edge costs US$41 and is now available for purchase on Cirque's Web site. Keyboard adapters are sold separately for $4.95.

The keyboard allows for faster typing enabling people with Visor Edge to better manage calendar and address text input, according to Richard Clasen, Cirque's president and CEO. The keyboard's retractable stand allows for easy typing either on flat surfaces or held in the person's hand.

It uses two coin lithium batteries as its own power source, and doesn't feed off the Edge's power. The PDA Pocket Keyboard targeted to users of the Handspring Visor Edge, but is also compatible with all Palm operating system versions along with the entire Palm product line. The keyboard measures 3.85 inches x 2.68 inches and weighs 1.9 ounces. To use the keyboard, install Cirque's PocketKeys software into your PDA to activate the device.
