Presenting Solutions, a Web-centric supplier of portable projectors and presentation equipment, has launched its new PowerPointers Meeting Center.

PowerPointers Meeting Center users share presentations, documents, applications, voice and video spontaneously with anyone, anywhere, using Mac, Windows or Solaris systems, according to Art Feierman, president of Presenting Solutions.

The heart of the Meeting Center is built around subscription services, which provide users with their own customized meeting center, Feireman said in announcing the service. He added that WebEx, the company powering the service, offers Presenting Solutions customers a complete communications solution that provides a secure, efficient environment to conduct business with customers, colleagues and partners across geographies.

"Now, in addition to our full line of audio-visual solutions, with WebEx, our sales teams can offer our customers another way to communicate effectively, both internally and with their own clients," Feierman said.

He expects the new PowerPointers Meeting Center to be used by many vertical markets, including field training, sales, legal system, distance learning, software development, sales, marketing, technical support and customer service support, among others. The center offers application sharing, presentation sharing, document sharing, Web co-browsing, desktop remote control (which allows the control of user's system remotely by another meeting participant -- with permission), file transfer, instant feedback, live chat, and live video. In addition to WebEx services, offers visitors a database of more than 700 articles written by professionals on how to communicate more effectively, covering topics including public speaking, training, negotiating, conferencing, presentation design and more.
