Now that Suitcase 10.1 for Mac OS X is shipping, you may want to load up on fonts for your Mac. If so, MyFonts.com, a subsidiary of the Bitstream font foundry, is now offering multi-user licenses.

Seventeen font foundries, including seven major font foundries, have already agreed to offer the multi-user licenses. Font users who need multiple copies of the same font can now easily purchase a license for them online at "competitive prices," Charles Ying, CEO of MyFonts.com, said in announcing the offer.

Besides Bitstream itself, the major font foundries offering multi-user licenses are Elsner+Flake (whose library contains more than 2,500 fonts), Linotype Library GmbH (whose portfolio currently includes more than 5,200 fonts), P22 Type Foundry, PageStudioGraphics, Storm Type Foundry, and URW++. You can get more details about the participating font foundries at the MyFonts Web site.
