Apple has been nominated for three BETT Awards, which are hosted as part of the annual IT-in-education BETT show, being held Jan. 9-12 in London, according to Macworld UK .

The iBook wireless mobile classroom received two nominations: for primary and secondary school hardware. Apple's iDVD software has also been nominated for a an award.

Last January Apple won three BETT Awards. The company won the Innovation Award, for the most innovative product of the year, and the Best ICT Hardware for Secondary Schools for their iBook and Airport products.

BETT is the longest running event in the UK's educational calendar. It attracts over 360 exhibiting companies and 22,120 visitors from 65 countries. It lets educators try, test and compare a wide range of educational specific software, hardware, multimedia, Internet and IT support services.
