If you've wanted a carry case for your iPod, the wait is almost over. A company called JR Hill is designing and producing two full grain leather carrying cases for Apple's new digital device.
The first version, the iPod Sleeve, will serve as a simple carrying case with a belt clip. On top will be a small opening for accessing the headphone jack. The second version, the iPod Sleeve Deluxe, will function much the same way cell phone cases do. It will have a clear plastic area for the display and a round, open area beneath to access the special jog dial to control the iPod. It will also feature a hole on the top to access the headphone jack and a belt clip.
According to a note on their Web site, JR Hill will be selling the iPod Sleeves "no later then the week after Thanksgiving." You can sign up on their Web site to be notified when the products are available. (Thanks to MacCentral reader Timothy Smith for the heads-up on this one.)
