ScheduleOnline, creator of the scheduling and group collaboration Web site has completed its new user tool, ScheduleOffline.

The Java based application that lets users download their data to any laptop or desktop computer, make changes and additions to meetings, contacts, to do's, and tasks while offline and synchronize back to their ScheduleOnline account when Internet connectivity is restored, according to Paul Srimuang, president of ScheduleOnline. The app can be downloaded for free and is available for Mac OS 8.x/9.x, Mac OS X, Windows, Unix and Linux.

"Creating ScheduleOffline was a result of ScheduleOnline customer requests," Srimuang, said in announcement. "Many of our users work for small- to medium-sized businesses and were worried about continuous access to the Internet. They asked us to extend our capabilities in case their Internet connection was unavailable."
