Delta 101LT
MIDIMAN and M-Audio have announced the release of the Delta 1010LT. It's a 10 in/10 out audio card for musicians and audio professionals. The PCI-based expansion card for Macs and PCs includes mic preamps, digital i/o, MIDI i/o and more.

The card features a 10x10 24-bit/96Khz full-duplex recording interface. It includes two external, color-coded breakout cables, and 8x8 analog I/O, balanced on female XLR and unbalanced on gold-plated RCA connectors. Signal level adjustments can be made within the Delta Control Panel, according to the developers.

The card also features Sony/Philips Digital Interface (S/PDIF), MIDI on standard DIN jacks. External synchronization is possible via word clock I/O on BNC connectors.

The Delta 1010LT uses M-Audio's Delta drivers and supports Mac OS 8.6 or higher, including Mac OS X -- the company vaunts its low-latency OS X drivers. The drivers support ASIO1, ASIO2, and legacy ASIO as well. Mac Sound Manager is also supported.

The Delta 1010LT carries a suggested retail price of US$499.95.
