Feelorium, makers of Mac shareware products, has released Textation 1.0.1, a QuickTime text track editor for Mac OS X 10.1

To use it you just point, click and type the text needed to display, without the need to manipulate text descriptors manually and type time codes one by one. Textation even checks the validity of time codes while users input data. The US$29 product also supports creations of chapter tracks and HREF Tracks.

You can also preview the resulting movie on the same editing window by just clicking a switch. With version 10.1, Textation now handles double-byte text samples correctly and displays the multiple languages font menu correctly. The name of a new text track is numbered. Also, Textation no longer disables the preview automatically after you make changes to the settings. You can download the product at the Textation Web site.
