Kanguru Solutions has rolled a Compact Flash card reader and USB flash drive into one unit: the KanguruMicro CF. The device also works as a IBM MicroDrive reader.

The KanguruMicro CF, which is small enough to sit in your palm, is compatible with any USB-equipped Mac. Starting at $39.95, it's available in three capacities: 32MB, 64MB, and 128MB. It's "plug and play" and requires no external power. The KanguruMicro CF sports an LED indicator, write protect switch, and power support savings mode.

In November, Kanguru released the KanguruMicro Drive+, a combined SD/MMC card reader and USB flash drive. The KanguruMicro CF was developed at the request of users who also wanted a device that added Compact Flash media support, the company said.
